The three most common questions
"Left as it is now"
In safe mode, a field you changed again after the latest snapshot is kept, and the report names it with the value you set, the value the snapshot holds, and the value in between. If you want the snapshot's value anyway, run the restore again in force mode, or set it by hand.
"Exists now, not in that snapshot"
A product, variant, stocked location or metafield that was added after the snapshot is listed and left alone. CatalogGuard never deletes anything; remove it by hand if that is what you want.
"Recreated, with a new id"
A deleted product or variant is recreated from the snapshot. Shopify assigns it a new id, so links that used the old id (order history, old URLs by id) do not follow, and it is published nowhere until you publish it. The coverage page lists what comes back and what does not.
