Terms

Effective November 2, 2026.

The service

CatalogGuard is a Shopify app provided by Ubuntu Life LLC. It takes snapshots of your product catalogue and, when you ask, writes chosen fields of chosen products back to the values a snapshot holds. You are responsible for the restores you apply, including restores you apply after a guardrail held them, and for checking the coverage page for what the app can and cannot put back.

Plans and billing

Plans and prices are shown in the app and billed by Shopify. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from the app's Plan page; Shopify's billing terms apply.

Refunds

If a restore made your catalogue worse and its undo could not repair it, write to support and the month is refunded in full.

What we promise and what we do not

We work to keep the app available and correct, and we answer support mail within one business day. The app is provided as is; we are not liable for lost sales or other indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months. The coverage page is the complete list of what a snapshot holds; nothing outside it is promised.

Changes

These terms may change; the effective date above moves when they do, and material changes are announced in the app.
